Come on and be a Dragonrider

Come on, be a dragonrider, we zoom, we loop, we play.
You never have to work at all, just fly around all day.
While others toil and study hard, and soon grow old and blind,
We'll take the air without a care, for it's you we search to find.

We quest, we search, for you to find
Oh, come and be a Dragonrider
And you will never mind!

Come on you'll get promoted, as high as you desire,
You never have to cook or sew, when you're a dragon flyer.
But just when you're named the next Wingleader, you will find,
Your dragon coughs, the straps fall off, then you will never mind.

When you loop to flame some Thread, you'll hear an awful tear,
You find yourself without your straps, but you will never care.
For in two heartbeats more, another pair you'll find,
As you hit the ground with a crashing sound, you will never mind.

You're flying over the ocean, you hear some Threadfall hiss,
Your lifemate's wings can't do a thing, your trous are wet with....
You're soaking wet, can't go between, the shore is miles behind,
Oh, what a dish for the 'claws and fish, but you will never mind.

You can fly up to the stones on your new draconic 'mate,
A skin of wine, a feast for one, you contemplate your fate
As, you've only got one dragon, friend, and if that sharding quits,
You'll be up there all by yourself, 'cause it will fly and git!

Oh, someday you'll meet Threadfall, you'll scorch it down in flames,
No use in bellyaching and calling sharding names,
You'll lose your wings, don't worry J'ak, another pair you'll find:
You'll fly *between*, n'er more seen, and you will never mind.

Oh, we're just a bunch of dragonriders, and we don't give a shard,
About the holder's point of view, it isn't all that hard.
We want a hundred thousand dragons, of each and every kind,
And now we've got our candidates, so we will never mind!

We quest, we search, for you to find
Oh, come and be a Dragonrider
And you will never mind!
