Echoes

Have you ever stopped to notice
The nature of life
As the sunrise sets to motion
Paints a picture above us

In the clouds I can see faces
What can you see?
Do you take the time to notice
Those beautiful things

Even in this world
Nature still survives
Take your time, relax your mind
Hear the echo of voices
Take your time, release your mind
Hear the echo of voices

Reaching out to touch the skies
Sky-broom trees unfurl
Bushy crowns of sharpened needles
Caress from red-brown roots

Backbone strength lends support
Do you mark its value?
Formidable energy to mould and shape
But the prize excels the price

Even in this world
Nature still survives
Take your time, relax your mind
Hear the echo of voices
Take your time, release your mind
Hear the echo of voices

Growing fast yet going nowhere
The sungazer blooms
Peeking through dew laden grasses
Its flower tipped in worship

Do you really see its worth?
I think you pass it by
Take a humble tip from nature
Surely she's got it right

Even in this world
Nature still survives
Take your time, relax your mind
Hear the echo of voices
Take your time, release your mind
Hear the echo of voices

Crownlike points array the bowl
Sharp and regal edges
Windswept weyr calderas
Blackened fingers twisting

Do you see sunfire?
Dragonhide agleam
Majestic golds a meeting
Their bronzes within the sky

Even in this world
Nature still survives

The moons, the stars, the sky
The coloured rainbows
The sun, the rain, the wind
The seas and the oceans
